Menstruation is still a taboo and the cultural norms compound the stigma associated with it. At Ek Anek, we believe that it’s about building a long term handholding comfort. So, we are building a bridge of compassion, trying to understand the feelings from ground level. We are taking gradual steps without hurting any sentiments.
Libraries
Reading is considered one of the best habits. It makes people visualize images of a whole new world. Reading improves memory and stimulation power. People become better at conversation and communication skills. Ek Anek is working towards libraries set up in schools in remote villages, who do not have access to the, otherwise. These are interactive libraries with not only books but also board games, education kits.
Education
Education is a powerful tool that determines the quality of an individual's life. Ek Anek is striving towards educating kids so that they build strong moral values, social development, physical aspect, communication skills, etc.
Creative Workshop
Being creative helps us understand ourselves and the world. It’s a natural part of human expression that we should all value. Ek Anek enjoys cultivating this creative side of kids. We bounce ideas off each other and try to create a community around inspiration and creative endeavors.
Health Campaigns
“Health is a resource for everyday life, not the objective of living” -WHO. Ek Anek has taken up health not only as a physical attribute but an overall mental, social well being.
Skill Development
Skill development is an important aspect in growth of an individual and subsequently nation. Team Ek Anek brainstorms on this philosophy making it a means to instill professional and emotional maturity in people.
Old Age Home Support
Old age is an important phase of life where elderly need love, support and care. Extending our support, Ek Anek firmly believes that just like a child, elderly need utmost attention. We provide support in all manner even if it’s the smallest step.
Orphanage Support
An Orphanage is a place where happiness can be observed as a totally different aspect of life. Adding up to their happiness, Ek Anek works on bringing these simple life pleasures in their otherwise routine lives.
Nutrition
Food is essential- it affects overall development and health. Nutrition is about eating balanced food that provides essential nutrients.
Ek panel foundation is a non profit organization with focus on education, nutrition, skill based learning, health & sanitary etc.
